This piece is beautiful. And for me, the designer and creator, it is one that pushed my limits more than any piece before it. With the odd shaped room, and the want of having chairs all around it, it is one that while not easy to figure out, it was possible. Following many drawings and measurements, this was the final design we came up with. Following the request of the client to keep it cheap, yet durable, I put a lvp flooring as the countertop, which is built to last. Wrapped with black aluminum channel, it also doesn’t flex but can stay thin, at just 1 inch thick. To support this, I also had to add 3 black aluminum legs, built to match, and then a cedar wrap around the supports to keep the beautiful look.
